ROMAC Welcomes Kevin “KJ” Pietrucha to Their Sales Team

July 19, 2012 (Commerce, CA) – ROMAC is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin “KJ” Pietrucha to their sales team. KJ is an electrical industry veteran of 20-plus years and brings extensive electrical product experience with him.

As a young man, KJ followed his father – a power plant turbine builder – to New Zealand, Australia, Cape Code, MA, Los Alamos, NM, and Arlington, VA before finally settling in California in 1984. “That was all by age 14,” explains KJ. “When you build a city a power plant, there’s not a big follow-up demand for a second power plant, so we moved a lot.”

KJ earned an associate degree from American River College (Sacramento, CA) in Fire Technologies before becoming a firefighter in the Sacramento area. After deciding to follow his father’s footsteps into the electrical industry, KJ started working for a specialty supplier of power, distribution, and control apparatus in the Sacramento area. As he gained more product knowledge about the various manufacturers of circuit breakers and control components, he became known as a reliable person to go to by most electrical wholesalers and end users to fulfill their needs. During this time, KJ added ABB’s low-voltage training course and AVO certification for low-voltage circuit breaker maintenance to his resume.

“KJ joined ROMAC on July 1st and brings in-depth knowledge of ABB breakers and motor controls – especially IEC products –, as well as the entire product line of HOYT Contacts,” explains ROMAC’s National Sales Manager, Craig Peters. “He has knowledge in all product groups that ROMAC supplies, and his expertise ranges from all manufacturers of molded case and insulated case circuit breakers to motor control and motor control buckets.”

KJ’s family includes wife Amy and two sons: Nicholas, age 13, and Ben, age 5. Nicholas is looking forward to joining the local Boy Scouts, keeping alive a tradition he and his dad started in Sacramento. KJ enjoys biking and poker when not on the phones at ROMAC helping customers find critical equipment for their electrical distribution and control systems.

KJ can be contacted at kj@romacsupply.com or called directly at 323-490-1527.
